You will not receive a card, but an IRS letter of authorization. This is to avoid any similarity and confusion with the Social Security Number Card (SSN).
If you qualify for the ITIN and your application is complete, you will receive a letter from the IRS that will be assigned to your tax ID number, usually within 8 to 12 weeks.
