Brazilian-owned Restaurant Hosts 4,000 People from Fia during High Season
There are many cases of Brazilians and other foreigners who have successful businesses in the US such as Alex Alencar and the Pernambuco Leonardo Charamba from Paraguay and owners of the illustrious Camilla’s Restaurant.
Camilla’s currently has two locations, one in Miami and one in Orlando.
Alencar and Charamba have been in the US for over 15 years, and started out working in the same restaurant as dishwashers, wait staff, and managers, among other things, before they bought their business in 2013.
The two owners began to invest in a campaign to value employees, which enabled an improvement in the quality of care. Today, the establishment is highly rated on TripAdvisor, Yelp and other similar rating systems.
Currently, an average of 4 thousand people visit Camilla’s per day during high season, according to an article published by the “Small Companies & Big Business” portal. About 10% of clients are Americans, 20% are Latin Americans and 70% are Brazilians.
Since Charamba and Alencar became the owners of this successful US business, revenue has increased by 40%.
